Five days after roasting, known as 'DAY 1', is ideal for enjoying coffee.
We aim to deliver your coffee as close to this freshness as possible. Different processing methods impact the taste, with gas control being crucial.
During roasting, managing heat and gas is essential to achieve the perfect roast profile. After roasting, degassing is necessary to allow carbon dioxide to escape, typically taking between 4 to 10 days.
Coffee is best enjoyed between 5 days and 6 weeks after roasting. Beyond that, flavor quality declines.
